Note Contact your system or motherboard manufacturer before upgrading your desktop processor. Your manufacturer is familiar with your system specifications and the different upgrade options available, and they can tell you which processors your system or motherboard supports. Even if your processor and motherboard socket match, it's critical to make sure that your motherboard BIOS supports your new processor. Older motherboards frequently don't have BIOS support for newer processors. Lack of BIOS support for your processor can cause the system to not boot or display erratic behavior. canernak upgrade pentium 4 ke core 2 duo x..samaader..kna pasang hdd je ke..caner.. 36. "Upgrade Chance" is a probability of a successful processor upgrade/downgrade from the Core i3-2310M (PGA) (original CPU) to a specific model. This number is calculated as a percentage of all motherboards, compatible with both original and upgrade CPUs, compared to the number of motherboards, that support the original Intel i3-2310M (PGA). Inany case, the CPU is most likely soldered into place which makes it extremely difficult to replace. Additionally, the Core 2 Duo and Core i3 CPUs have different sockets so you cannot install a Processor= Intel® Core i7-9700K Desktop Processor 8 Cores up to 4.9 GHz Turbo unlocked LGA1151 300 Series 95W(Amazon link) = Now the Intel Core 2 Quad processors require additional power. You need to ascertain, from the manufacturer of the motherboard, whether this motherboard has the capability to provide this additional power and, if so, which of the Intel Core 2 Quad processors are supported by the motherboard's BIOS. Note also that it sometimes requires a BIOS upgrade to enable this support - and, this BIOS upgrade must be installed BEFORE you remove the existing processor.
